PENGEMBANGAN MODUL PEMBUATAN BUSANA RUMAH SECARA INDUSTRI DI SMK NEGERI 6 YOGYAKARTA

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengembangkan modul pembuatan busana rumah secara industri; 2)
mengetahui kelayakan modul pembuatan busana rumah secara industri. Penelitian ini merupakan
penelitian research and development (R&D). Tahapan pengembangan modul: 1) analisis kebutuhan
produk; 2) pengembangan produk awal; 3) validasi ahli dan revisi; 4) uji coba skala kecil dan 5) uji coba
skala besar dan produk akhir. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan instrument berupa angket.
Modul pembuatan busana industri terbukti layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar. Dibuktikan dengan hasil
pemakaian oleh peserta didik ditinjau dari aspek kualitas penyajian, bahasa, grafika dan manfaat secara
keseluruhan mendapatkan persentase sebesar 84,6% dengan kategori sangat layak. Berdasarkan data
yang diperoleh, modul pembuatan busana rumah secara industri dinyatakan layak digunakan untuk
membantu siswa dalam memahami materi busana industri dan dapat melakukan praktik pembuatan
busana rumah secara industri dengan mandiri.Guru dan siswa disarankan untuk menggunakan modul
pembuatan busana rumah secara industri sebagai bahan ajar penunjang proses pembelajaran.

DEVELOPING A MODULE OF MAKING HOME APPARELS INDUSTRIALLY FOR
GRADE XI STUDENT OF FASHION DESIGN EXPERTISE PROGRAM
AT SMKN 6 YOGYAKARTA
ABSTRACT
This study aims to: 1) develop a module of making home apparels industrially through
research and development process: and 2) find out the appropriateness of the developed module. This
was a research and development (R&D) study. Module development stages: 1) product needs analysis;
2) initial product development; 3) expert validation and revision; 4) small-scale trials and 5) large-scale
trials and final products. The instrument was first validated by expert. Based on these data, it can be
concluded that the module of making home apparels industrially is appropriate and suitable to be used
as learning materials. Meanwhile, the field testing involving the students in terms of the aspect of the
quality of presentation, language, graphics and benefit as a whole yielded 84,6%, indicating that the
product was very appropriate for Grade XI of SMK N 6 Yogyakarta. the industrial home fashion making
module is declared feasible to be used to assist students in understanding industrial fashion materials
and can carry out industrial manufacturing practices independently. Based on these data, it can be
concluded that the module of making home apparels industrially is appropriate to be used to assist
students in understanding industrial clothing materials and can carry out the practice of making industrial
clothing independently with an independent. Teachers and students are advised to use industrial fashion
making modules as supporting teaching materials learning process.
