PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS ADOBE FLASH MATERI PRINSIP DESAIN DI SMK NEGERI 1 SAPTOSARI

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan 1) Mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis Adobe Flash materi
Prinsip Desain. 2) Mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran berbasis Adobe Flash materi Prinsip
Desain. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan Thiagarajan yang dibatasi sampai tahap
ketiga yaitu tahap define, design, dan develop. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara,
observasi, dokumentasi, studi pustaka dan angket. Validitas instrumen menggunakan validitas isi
dengan hasil sangat layak. Reliabilitas instrumen menggunakan Cohen’s Kappa dengan hasil 0,928
kategori sangat reliabel. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan 1. Pengembangan media pembelajaran Adobe Flash : a. Tahap Define meliputi analisis
kurikulum, karakteristik siswa, materi, dan merumuskan tujuan; b. Tahap Design meliputi pembuatan
flowchart, storyboard, dan prototype; c. Tahap Develop meliputi 1) Expert appraisal yaitu validasi
ahli materi menghasilkan mean 117.5 kategori sangat layak dan ahli media menghasilkan mean 113,5
kategori sangat layak. 2) Development testing a) Uji skala kecil dengan hasil mean 101,3 kategori
sangat layak. b) Uji skala besar dengan hasil mean 112,5 kategori sangat layak. 2. Kelayakan media
pembelajaran Adobe Flash berdasarkan ahli materi, ahli media, uji skala kecil, dan uji skala besar
dinyatakan sangat layak, sehingga dapat digunakan pada mata pelajaran Dasar Desain.

This study aimed to: 1) develop Adobe-Flash-based learning media for the materials of
Design Principles at SMK Negeri 1 Saptosari, and 2) investigate the appropriateness of the developed
learning media. This study used Thiagarajan’s development model which was limited to three stages,
namely the define, design, and develop stages. The data were collected through interviews,
observations, documentation, literature study, and questionnaires. The instrument validity was
assessed in terms of the content validity which was valid. The instrument reliability by Cohen’s
Kappa, which was very reliable. The data were analyzed using the quantitative descriptive technique.
The results of the study were as follows. 1. The Adobe-Flash-based learning media were developed
through: a) the Define stage consisting of curriculum, students’ characteristics, materials, and
objective setting; b) the Design stage consisting of flowchart making, storyboard making, materials
design, and prototype; and c) the Develop stage consisting of 1) the Expert appraisal was done
through the validation by the materials experts yielding a mean score of 117.5, which was very
appropriate, and by the media experts yielding a mean of 113.5, which was very appropriate;2) the
Development testing was done through: (a) the small-scale tryout yielding a mean score of 101.3,
which was very appropriate; and (b) the product tryout yielding a mean score of 112.5, which was
very appropriate. 2. The Adobe-Flash-based learning media for the materials of Design Principles are
very appropriate according to the materials expert, media experts, small-scale tryout, and large-scale
tryout, so that the learning media can be used in the Design Principles subject.
