PENGEMBANGAN VIDEO PEMBELAJARAN PEWARNAAN TEKNIK KERING MATA PELAJARAN DESAIN BUSANA DI SMK N 6 YOGYAKARTA

Abstract


ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengembangkan video pembelajaran pewarnaan teknik kering
di SMK N 6 Yogyakarta; 2) mengetahui kelayakan video pembelajaran pewarnaan teknik kering .
Jenis penelitian
R&D (research and development) menggunakan model Borg & Gall yang
disederhanakan oleh Tim Puslitjaknov meliputi: 1) analisis produk; 2) mengembangkan produk awal;
3) validasi dan revisi; 4) uji coba lapangan skala kecil dan revisi; 5) uji coba lapangan skala besar dan
produk akhir. Validasi dilakukan kepada ahli materi, dan ahli media. Subjek penelitian uji coba skala
kecil 10 siswa, dan uji coba skala besar 30 siswa. Alat pengumpul data menggunakan angket. Validitas
menggunakan
content validity dan construct validity. Reliabilitas menggunakan Alpha Cronbach.
Analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian berupa: (1) pengembangan
video pembelajaran pewarnaan teknik kering melalui 5 tahap pengembangan yaitu : (a) analisa
kebutuhan produk; (b) mengembangan produk awal; (c) validasi ahli materi dan ahli media 100%
menyatakan “layak”; (d) uji skala kecil menyatakan “layak” dengan mean (81,7); (e) uji coba skala
besar menyatakan “layak” dengan mean(79,2); (2) kelayakan video pembelajaran pewarnaan teknik
kering dari penilaian para ahli, uji skala kecil, dan uji skala besar dinyatakan layak dan dapat
digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran desain busana di SMK N 6 Yogyakarta.

DEVELOPING A VIDEO FOR THE LEARNING OF DRY COLORING TECHNIQUES IN THE
FASHION DESIGN SUBJECT AT SMKN 6 YOGYAKARTA
ABSTRACT
This study aimed to: 1) develop a video for the learning of dry coloring techniques in SMKN 6
Yogyakarta; 2) assess the appropriateness of the video for the learning of dry coloring techniques. The
development model was Borg & Gall’s model modified by a team at the Center for Policy and
Innovation studies. The development stages consisted of: (1) a product needs analysis; (2) preliminary
product development; (3) validation and revision; (4) a small-scale field tryout and revision; and (5) a
large-scale field tryout. The validation was done by a materials expert, and a media expert. The
research subjects were selected by means of the random sampling technique. The data were collected
by a questionnaire. The validity was assessed in terms of the content validity. The reliability was
assessed using Cronbach’s Alpha. The data analysis used descriptive statistics. The results of the
study were as follows. (1) The video for the learning of dry coloring techniques was developed
through five stages, namely: (a) product needs analysis; (b) preliminary product development; (c)
validation by media and materials experts showing that the video was appropriate; (d) a small-scale
tryout of which the results showed that the video was appropriate with a mean score of 81.7; and (e) a
large-scale trial tryout of which the results showed that the video was appropriate with a mean score
of 79.2. (2) The video for the learning of dry coloring techniques based on the assessment by the
materials expert, media expert, small-scale tryout, and large-scale tryout is appropriate and can be
used as learning media for fashion design in Grade XII of SMKN 6 Yogyakarta.
