PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN KOMIK MEMBUAT CAKE UBI UNGU UNTUK SISWA KELAS VIII SMPN 1 SLEMAN

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan : (1) mengembangkan komik membuat cake ubi ungu sebagai media
pembelajaran siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sleman (2) menguji kelayakan komik membuat cake ubi
ungu sebagai media pembelajaran siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sleman. Jenis penelitian yang
digunakan adalah R&D (Research and Development) dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop,
Disseminate). Hasil penelitian: (1) Pengembangan komik melalui 4 tahap yaitu tahap define, analisis
kebutuhan. Tahap design, perancangan isi dan tampilan komik. Tahap develop, pengembangan
rancangan dan validasi ahli materi, ahli media, uji coba skala kecil dan skala luas. Tahap disseminate,
proses penyebaran. (2) kelayakan komik oleh ahli materi mendapat skor 77 (80%) kategori “Layak”.
Penilaian kelayakan oleh ahli media mendapat skor 73 (91%) kategori “Sangat Layak”. Penilaian
siswa dalam skala kecil sebesar 101 (84%) kategori “Sangat Layak” dan skala luas sebesar 97.6 (81%)
kategori “Layak”.

This study aims to : (1) developing comic of purple sweet potato cake making as a learning
media for the VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Sleman (2) testing the of purple sweet potato cake
making comic as a learning media for the VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Sleman. This research
is a R&D type (Research and Development) with 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate).
Result of the research showed: (1) the development of comics through 4 stages, namely the stage
define with needs analysis. Stage design that is designing the content and look of the comic. The stage
of development is the design and develop of validation expert content, media expert, cmall scale trials
and wide scale. Disseminate phase is deployment process(2)the expediency of comic by material
expert got mean value of 77 (80%) with categorize of “proper”. Assessing the expediency by media
expert got mean value of 73 (91%) with categorize of “very proper”. Also, the mean value from
students assessment in narrow scale is 101 (84%) with categorize “very proper” and in broad scale
are 97.6 (81%) with categorize of “proper”.
