PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA VIDEO PEMBELAJARAN AMERICAN SERVICE UNTUK MATA KULIAH TATA HIDANG

Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) Mengembangkan media video pembelajaran American Service untuk mata
kuliah Tata Hidang. (2) Mengetahui tingkat kelayakan media video pembelajaran American Service untuk mata kuliah
Tata Hidang berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi, ahli media dan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis Research
and Development (R&D) dengan model Borg dan Gall yang disederhanakan oleh Tim Puslitjaknov (Pusat Penelitian
Kebijakan dan Inovasi Pendidikan). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket uji kelayakan. Hasil penelitian
ini adalah: (1) pengembangan media video pembelajaran American Service ini dikembangkan dengan model Borg
dan Gall yang disederhanakan oleh Tim Puslitjaknov melalui 5 proses tahapan yakni, analisis kebutuhan dengan
menganalisis kurikulum dan observasi; pengembangkan produk awal dengan mengumpulkan materi, membuat
storyboard, pengambilan gambar, penyusunan video dan pengemasan produk; validasi ahli materi dan ahli media; uji
lapangan skala kecil dengan menguji video kepada 9 mahasiswa dan revisi; uji lapangan skala besar dengan menguji
video kepada 44 mahasiswa dan direvisi hingga menjadi produk akhir; (2) Hasil penilaian kelayakan oleh ahli materi
(69%) termasuk kategori layak, penilaian ahli media (62%) termasuk kategori layak, uji coba lapangan skala kecil
(69%) termasuk kategori layak, uji coba lapangan skala besar (74%) termasuk kategori layak digunakan sebagai
media pembelajaran.

The purposes of this study are to (1) develop an teaching video media on American Service for food and
beverage service class (2) Knowing the level of feasibility of the teaching video media on American Service for food
and beverage service class based on the assessment of material experts, media experts and students. This research
is a Research and Development (R & D) research that refers to the Borg and Gall model which is simplified by the
Puslitjaknov Team (Research Center for Educational Policy and Innovation). Data collection techniques used the
Feasibility test questionnaire. The results of this study are: (1) the development of this teaching video media on
American Service was developed with Borg and Gall models simplified by the Puslitjaknov Team through 5 stages,
namely the needs analysis by analyzing the curriculum and making observations; developing Early Products by
collecting material, making storyboards, taking pictures, compiling videos and packaging products; validation by
material experts and media experts; small-scale field testing by testing videos for 9 students and revisions; largescale

feasibility assessment by material experts (69%) included in the feasible category, media expert ratings (62%)
included in the feasible category, small-scale field trials (69%) included in the feasible category, large-scale field
