ANALISIS PENERIMAAN MAHASISWA ASING PROGRAM DARMASISWA TERHADAP MAKANAN TRADISIONAL DI DAERAH ISTIMEWA YOGYAKARTA

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerimaan mahasiswa asing terhadap makanan lokal Daerah
Istimewa Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasional menggunakan metode survei dengan
instrumen angket yang berisi butir pernyataan untuk memperoleh data tentang penerimaan mahasiswa asing
program darmasiswa terhadap makanan lokal di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah
mahasiswa asing darmasiswa di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta sebanyak 94. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil
dengan cara accidental sampling dengan seluruh jumlah sampel (sampel jenuh) sehingga diperoleh sampel 94
responden. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh analisis
penerimaan (acceptance) mahasiswa asing program darmasiswa terhadap makanan lokal di Daerah Istimewa
Yogyakarta termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil rerata (Mean) skor variabel
penerimaan (acceptance) mahasiswa asing darmasiswa terhadap makanan lokal di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta
berada pada kategori sedang dengan nilai 67,31 dan dengan jumlah frekuensi personal skor pada setiap indikator
yang meliputi persepsi dengan kategori tinggi sebesar 53% dan kategori sedang sebesar 47%, karakteristik sensoris
dengan kategori tinggi sebesar 45%, kategori sedang sebesar 53% dan kategori rendah sebesar 2%, sajian produk
dengan kategori tinggi sebesar 47%, kategori sedang sebesar 49% dan kategori rendah sebesar 4%, manfaat produk
dengan kategori tinggi sebesar 47% dan kategori sedang sebesar 53%.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to know the acceptance of foreign students to traditional food in Special
Region of Yogyakarta. This research was a correlation research that applies survey method with the questionnaire
instrument which contains the questions in order to gain the data about acceptance of foreign student of
darmasiswa program to traditional food in Special Region of Yogyakarta. The population in this research was 94
foreign students of darmasiswa program in Special Region of Yogyakarta. The samples in this research were taken
by accidental sampling with the whole number of samples (saturated samples) or 94 samples. Data analysis was
done by using quantitative descriptive technique. The results of this research obtained the acceptance analysis for
foreign students of darmasiswa program to traditional food in Special Region of Yogyakarta included in to the
medium category. This is evidenced by the mean score of acceptance variables for foreign students of darmasiswa
program to traditional food in Special Region of Yogyakarta is in the medium category with a value of 67.31 and
also with personal data result in each indicator including perception with 53% for high category, 47% for medium
category, sensory characteristic with 45% for high category, 53% for medium category, and 2% for low category,
product serving with 47% for high category, 49% for medium category, and 4% for low category, product benefit
with 47% for high category, and 53% for medium category.
