THE IMPLEMENTATION OF WOMEN POLITICS PERFORMANCE AND ITS REPRESENTATION (STUDI IN DPRD CILACAP, 2014 GENERAL RESULT)

This study aims at describing the implementation of women legislative members performance and women politics representation in DPRD of Cilacap with 2014 General Election Result. This research was descriptive qualitative research with the gender perspective. Crosschecking was used to establish the validity data. The data analysis techniques were done by preparing the interview transcript and documentation, reading all part of data that found, giving the data code, then connecting each other with the theme that will analyzed and interpreting with researcher’s personal interpretation as well as the comparison between the result and theory. The result shows that the women legislative members performance are good, however it is still not maximal in the fulfillment women’s right in politics, education, manpower, and health in Cilacap. the representation of women legislative members is still low, because the less support of people, politics parties, and institution of DPRD Cilacap. However, in perspective theory liberal feminism, socialism, and radicalism, the women legislative members already show the struggle in fulfilling the women importance as feminism struggle action i.e look for freedom to create aquality between men and women in the terms of opportunity and right.
