Pelaksanaan program Educational Trip dalam Membentuk Karakteristik Warga Negara Global di SMP Global Islamic School 3 Yogyakarta

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mendeskripsikan implementasi program Educational Trip dalam membentuk karakteristik warga negara global di SMP Global Islamic School 3 Yogyakarta; (2) Menganalisis faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat dalam pelaksanaan program educational trip dalam membentuk karakteristik warga negara global di SMP Global Islamic School 3 Yogyakarta; (3) Menganalisis upaya untuk mengatasi kendala dalam pelaksanaan program Educational Trip dalam membentuk karakteristik warga negara global di SMP Global Islamic School 3 Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) Implementasi program Educational Trip di SMP Global Islamic School 3 Yogyakarta diinternalisasikan melalui tahap persiapan: rapat, sosialisasi dan kegiatan pre-departure training; tahap pelaksanaan: jurnal perjalanan, wawancara pihak lokal, performance, presentasi, scrapbook, school exposure; dan tahap evaluasi meliputi evaluasi dari guru, peserta didik, dan orangtua. (2) Faktor pendukung dari internal: kurikulum sekolah, dukungan guru dan tenaga pendidik, partisipasi peserta didik; sarana dan prasarana. Faktor pendukung eksternal: dukungan orangtua, kerjasama dengan instansi, kondisi lingkungan. Sedangkan faktor penghambat dari internal: sosialisasi yang kurang optimal dan manajemen waktu yang kurang efektif. Faktor penghambat eksternal: kurangnya efektifitas biaya dan kurangnya relasi terkait vendor. (3) Upaya untuk mengatasi kendala dengan persiapan yang matang, manajemen waktu yang efektif dan efisien, meningkatkan efektifitas biaya, meningkatkan relasi vendor.
