THE INTEGRATION OF TRAFFIC ETHIC EDUCATION IN PPKN SUBJECT OF TRAFFICT EDUCATION JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL MODEL IN YOGYAKARTA
Abstract
ABSTRACT
The aims of the study are to describe the integration of traffic ethic education in PPKn subject and the obstacles in the integration process of traffic ethic education in PPKn subject at Traffic Education Junior High School Model in Yogyakarta. This study is a descriptive study using the application of qualitative approach. The subject of the study is determined by purposive technic. To collection the data research conducts by interview, documentation, and observation technic. The validation of the data uses triangulation method. The analysis of the data applying inductive technic which includes some stages as data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusion. The result of the study shows that: 1) the integration of traffic ethic education in PPKn subject covers the planning process and implementation of PPKn Learning which is integrated with the values of discipline and responsibility in traffic education. 2) the obstacles in the integration of traffic ethic education in PPKn subject are: difficulty in developing the substance of traffic education and in doing the social attitude assessment which is integrated with traffic education values.
