Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses kreatif yang dilakukan oleh ekstrakurikuler Patbhe la Danse dalam penciptaan tari Gladiator, tahap-tahap penciptaan karya tari, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi proses kreatif ekstrakurikuler Patbhe la Danse dalam penciptan tari Gladiator. Penelitian berjenis deskriptif kualitatif ini menggunakan anggota, penari dan pelatih ekstrakurikuler sebagai subjek penelitian. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data diperoleh melalui validitas dengan ketekunan pengamatan dan triangulasi sumber. Data hasil observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dianalisis dengan teknik analisis data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) proses kreatif yang dilakukan oleh ekstrakurikuler Patbhe la Danse dalam penciptaan tari Gladiator adalah melalui beberapa tahap yaitu eksplorasi, improvisasi, dan komposisi, (2) faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi proses kreatif Patbhe la Danse adalah faktor lingkungan, sarana, keterampilan, identitas, orisinalitas, dan apresiasi.

Abstract
The objective of the research was describing the creative process conducted by Patbhe la Danse in the making of Gladiator Dance which included the stages of the making and factors influencing the process. This research used a descriptive-qualitative approach. The subjects of the research were the members, dancers, and the coach of Patbhe la Danse. The data of the research were gained by observation, interview and documentation. Trustworthiness of the data gained by continous observation and triangulation. The technique of data analysis was qualitative data analysis technique. The results of the research were: (1) the process of making were divided into three sequencial stages, i.e. exploration, improvisation, and forming, (2) factors influenced the process were environment, facility, ability, identity, authenticity and apreciation.
