Analisis Potensi Museum Ullen Sentalu Sebagai Sumber Belajar IPS SMP

ABSTRACT
. This research aims to analyze the potential that exists in the Ullen Sentalu Museum which can be used as a learning resource for junior high school social studies. This research uses qualitative methods. The research was carried out from February to May 2024. The research subjects were Ullen Sentalu Museum Curator, Ullen Sentalu Museum Educator, Social Studies Teacher at SMP Negeri 5 Depok Sleman, and Teacher at SMP Negeri 4 Depok Sleman. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation methods. The data validity technique uses the Triangulation Technique. The results of this research show that the Ullen Sentalu museum has the potential to be suitable for various junior high school social studies materials such as: a) Location and location related to material about knowing where you live. b) The shape of the earth's surface is related to Indonesia's natural diversity and the use of natural resources. c) The Ullen Sentalu Museum collection on the Adiluhung Mataram tour is related to cultural interaction material during the Islamic kingdom. d) The Ullen Sentalu Museum collection in the Skriptorium tour collection is related to material on the Indonesian nation's movement towards independence. e) Boutique shops, restaurants and economic activities of the surrounding community are related to human activities to meet life's needs, the role of society in the economic chain, and the diversity of economic activities. f) Interaction activities at the Ullen Sentalu Museum are related to getting to know the community. g) The Ullen Sentalu Museum collection on the Vorstenlenden tour is related to material on social cultural diversity and local wisdom. Social Studies teachers who use the Ullen Sentalu Museum as a social studies learning resource can accompany students in carrying out the Adiluhung Mataram, Skriptorium, or Vorstenlenden Tour at the Ullen Sentalu Museum by starting with providing an overview of the contents of the Museum and delivering assignments from the visit to the Ullen Sentalu Museum. The Ullen Sentalu Museum meets the criteria for selecting learning resources because it is economical, practical, easy to obtain, flexible, and suitable so that it can be used as a learning resource social studies.
