THE DEVELOPMENT OF INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR MONITORING STUDENTS CHARACTER IN SMK N 2 DEPOK SLEMAN

Abstract

The aim of the research was to solve the problems of the attitude assessment by developing an information system as a medium to facilitate attitude assessment especially for monitoring students character in SMK N 2 Depok Sleman. Throught the information system tearchers can input the journal based on the subject of teaching. Religion,, PKn, and homeroom teacher can monitor the journal entries then can be followed up by coaching. The informaton system can also be used for doing coordination among subject, BK, and homeroom teacher. The method used is Rational Unified Process (RUP). RUP development model consists of four phases: inception, elaboration, construction, and transition. The information system was build with framework Laravel 5.3, Unified Modeling Language, and Sublime Text. The result of the research is an information system as a media to facilitate attitude assesment especially for monitoring students character in SMK N 2 Depok Sleman.
