Abstract

An analysis of the information system quality using ISO 9126 in “Nezawa ISDC and Chat” aims to investigate the quality of a web-based information system. ISO 9126 has 6 aspects, i.e.: functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, and portability. The results of the test on 6 aspects of ISO 9126 are as follows. (a) The test on the functionality aspect using the checklist for system functions obtains the functionality test result of 98.22% (very good). (b) The test on the reliability aspect using LoadImpact tools obtains the reliability test result of 1 or 100%, indicating that the system passes the reliability test. (c) The test on the usability aspect using the SUPR-Q questionnaire obtains the usability test result of 80.10% (very good). (d) The test on efficiency using YSlow tools obtains the efficiency test result of 91.83% (Grade A). (e) The maintainability test referring to Rikard Land’s maintainability metrics obtains the maintainability test result showing that the system runs as expected and satisfies the maintainability aspect. (f) The test on the portability aspect using browserstack tools shows that the system has passed the portability test.
