PENGEMBANGAN APLIKASI ANDROID KAMUS BINOMIAL NOMENKLATUR (Binnom) SEBAGAI MEDIA BANTU BELAJAR SISWA KELAS X MAN YOGYAKARTA 1 MATA PELAJARAN BIOLOGI

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan aplikasi android Kamus Binnom yang dapat membantu siswa kelas X MA Negeri Yogyakarta 1 dalam memahami materi binomial nomenklatur pada mata pelajaran biologi dan mengetahui tingkat kelayakan aplikasi yang dikembangkan ditinjau dari aspek functional suitablity, performance efficiency, portability, dan usability. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Research and Development. Prosedur yang digunakan dalam pengembangan aplikasi mengacu pada waterfall model yang meliputi tahapan: (1) analisis, (2) desain, (3) implementasi, dan (4) pengujian. Hasil penelitian ini adalah media bantu belajar Kamus Binnom berbasis android dengan hasil pengujian: (1) aspek functional suitability mendapatkan hasil kelayakan sebesar 100% sesuai dengan standar functionality sanity check AQuA; 2) aspek performance efficiency telah terpenuhi karena dalam proses eksekusi tidak terdapat error dan memory leak, serta penggunaan maksimal CPU sebesar 4% dimana masih berada dibawah batas aman; 3) aspek portability telah terpenuhi karena memberikan hasil bahwa aplikasi 100% dapat dipasang, digunakan, dicopot, serta di-update pada semua smartphone android; dan 4) aspek usability telah memenuhi aspek usability dengan menghasilkan presentase kelayakan sebesar 80,58% dengan kriteria “Layak” dan nilai koefisien reliabilitas alpha cronbach sebesar 0.894 dengan kriteria “Good”.

Abstract
The purposes of this study are developing android application of Binnom Dictionary which can assist X class student of MAN Yogyakarta 1 to understand the material of binomial nomenclature in the biology subject and determine the feasibility of the application in terms of functional suitability, performance efficiency, portability, and usability. The method was used in this research is Reaserch and Development(R&D). The development model was used in this study is waterfall model that consist of four stages: 1) analysis, 2) design, 3) implementation, and 4) testing. The results of this study are android-based study assist media of Binnom Dictionary with test results: 1) functional suitability aspect got the feasibility of 100% which is accordance with the criteria of functional sanity check of AQuA standard, (2) performance efficiency aspect had been fulfilled because the execution process does not contain any errors and memory leak, as well as the maximum CPU usage by 4% which is below the safety limit; (3) portability aspect had been fulfilled as a result that 100% of application can be installed, used, removed, and updated on all android smartphone; and (4) usability aspect had been fulfilled with feasibility of 80.58% which is categorized as“feasible”and the value of alpha cronbach reliability coefficient was 0.894 categorized "Good".
