THE DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING BASIC PROGRAMMING MODULE BASED ON PROBLEM BASED LEARNING FOR STUDENTS OF GRADE XI MULTIMEDIA IN SMK N 1 PENGASIH

Abstract
The purpose of this research are: 1) to know what kind of basic learning programming module based on problem based learning for students of grade XI Multimedia in SMK N 1 Pengasih; 2) to know the level appropriateness of basic learning programming module based on problem based learning for students of grade XI Multimedia at SMK N 1 Pengasih. This research use Research and Development (RnD) method by using Four-D (4D) development model wich consist of 4 stages, they are define, design, develop, and disseminate. The disseminate stage is not performed because this research is only done on the scope of one school only. The result of this research is: 1) basic learning programming module for students of grade XI Multimedia at SMK N 1 Pengasih. Module consists of 4 chapter, they are arithmetic and logic operations, array, string operations and data conversion, and pointer. The module comes with explanation of the program, practice question, practical assignment based on the steps of problem based learning, summary, and evaluation of each chapter; 2) the level of appropriateness of module based on assessment of material expert, media expert, and learners get value results with the category is very suitable to be used as a medium learning for students of grade XI Multimedia at SMK N 1 Pengasih.
