DEVELOPMENT OF PRIVATE INSTRUCTORS COURSE RESERVATION MOBILE APPLICATION ANDROID BASED AT INSTITUE OF ENGLISH COURSE JOGJA ENGLISH

Abstract


Reservation has an important role to improve the customer service in the industry, ideally ordering online will be successful if the customer is given clear information and according to customer need, hence this research has chat feature. This research aimed to: (1) Develop private instructor reservation mobile application to facilitate the process of private instructors course reservation in Jogja English based on Android. (2) Prevent technical and non technical errors by guaranteeing the quality of Android-based applications using ISO 25010 standards. Developing models using Rational Unified Process (RUP), RUP is a software development approach consisting of four stages: inception, elaboration, construction, and transition. The tests were conducted using ISO 25010 standard on functional suitability, usability, reliability, performance efficiency, and maintainability characteristics. The results of this research are: (1) Mobile private instructor course reservation application based on Android as one of solution to facilitate reservation at Jogja English. (2) The test result showed that the application has fulfilled the ISO 25010 standard on functional suitability characteristic of 98% (very feasible), usability characteristics 77.36% (feasible), performance efficiency at time behavior less than 1 second (very satisfied), and compability of 100% co-existence aspect and on device testing and operating system 98.2% (very feasible).
