PENERAPAN AKOMODASI PEMBELAJAAN BAGI SISWA SLOW LEARNER KELAS III DI SD NEGERI POJOK SLEMAN

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui lebih mendalam mengenai penerapan akomodasi pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru terhadap siswa slow learner di kelas III. Aspek yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini, yaitu akomodasi pembelajaran dalam bidang materi dan cara pengajaran serta akomodasi pembelajaran dalam bidang tugas dan penilaian. Subjek penelitian adalah guru kelas III. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi dan wawancara. Langkah-langkah dalam analisis data yaitu: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan hasil kesimpulan. Keabsahan data diuji dengan menggunakan traingulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Akomodasi dalam bidang materi dan cara pengajaran yang diterapkan oleh guru belum sesuai dengan kemampuan belajar siswa slow learner di kelas III.Diperlukan down grade materi untuk menyesuaikan materi dengan kemampuan belajarsiswa. Pada akomodasi pembelajaran bidang tugas siswa slow learner harus diberikan tugas yang lebih sedikit dan tidak terlalu luas. Pemberian tes lisan dapat menjadi solusi untuk siswa slow learner.

Abstract This research is categorized descriptive research that aimed to find out about learning accommodation for slow learner carried by teacher in 3rd grade. There are two aspects to be figured out, i.e. learning accommodation in the field of material and way of teaching and also learning accommodation of tasks and assessment for slow learner students in 3rd grade. The subject of this research was a teacher of SDN Pojok Sleman grade III. The data were collected by observation and interview. The data was analyzed by reduction, presentation and conclusion. Triangulation of technic was applied to ensure the validity of the data. The results of this research reveal are The learning accommodation in the field of material and the method of teaching applied by the teacher were inappropriate to the learning abilities of slow learner students in the third grade. Down grade material is needed to be added to adjust the material and student learning abilities. Learning accommodation in field of tasks and assessment must be suitable for learning ability of the slow learner students. Slow learner students must be given less and limited tasks. Giving oral tests can be the solutions for slow learner students. Keywords: learning accommodations, slow learner
