PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA PERMULAAN MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA DOMINO CARD PADA ANAK ADHD KELAS V DI SD MUHAMMADIYAH BAYEN KALASAN SLEMAN YOGYAKARTA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan pada siswa ADHD kelas V di SD Muhammadiyah Kalasan dengan menggunakan media Domino Card. Desain yang digunakan dalama penelitian ini dalah desain Kemmis dan MC Taggart. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 siklus. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa ADHD sekolah dasar kelas V ( lima) yang mengalami kesulitan membaca permulaan berjumlah dua orang . Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes dan non tes, yaitu observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan tes kemampuan membaca permulaan. Teknik analisis data secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan penyajian data dalam bentuk tabel dan grafik histogram. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media Domino Card dalam penanganan siswa ADHD yang mengalami kesulitan membaca permulaan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa. Kemampuan awal membaca permulaan pada subjek RN adalah 67,94% sedangkan subjek DF sebanyak 70%. Hasil pasca tindakan siklus I yaitu subjek RN memperoleh skor 73,52% dan DF memperoleh skor 74,11%. Hasil tes kedua subjek belum memenuhi kriteria sehingga memerlukan pengulangan materi. Hasil pasca tindakan siklus II mengalami peningkatan dan memenuhi kriteria yaitu subjek RN memperoleh skor sebanyak 79,11% dan DF memperoleh skor sebanyak 83,23%.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to improve the reading ability of students in ADHD class V in SD Muhammadiyah Kalasan by using Domino Card media. The design was used in this research is Kemmis and MC Taggart. This study consists of 2 cycles. Subjects in this study were ADHD students of grade V (five) primary schools who were difficulty reading the beginning of two people. Technique of collecting data was used test and non test technique, that was observation, interview, documentation and early reading skill test. Data analysis techniques are descriptively quantitative and the presentation of data in the form of tables and histogram graphs. The results showed that the used of Domino Card media in the handling of ADHD students who was difficulty reading the beginning can improved students' reading ability. Early reading ability on RN subject was 67.94% while the subject of DF is 70%. The result of post-cycle action I was subject RN got score 73,52% and DF got score 74,11%. The test results of both subjects was not met the criteria so that it requires repetition of the material. Results post-action cycle II was increased and meet the criteria of RN subjects obtained a score of 79.11% and DF obtained a score of 83.23%.
