KETERAMPILAN MENCUCI PAKAIAN HAMBATAN INTELEKTUAL SEDANG DENGAN METODE DRILL AND PRACTICE

Abstrak
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji efektivitas drill and practice terhadap keterampilan mencuci pakaian anak hambatan intelektual kategori sedang di SLB N 1 Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Desain penelitian pre-test post-test group desain. Subyek penelitian berjumlah dua anak hambatan intelektual sedang kelas IX SMPLB SLB N 1 Yogyakarta. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, observasi, dan wawancara. Analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif dan perhitungan statistik parametrik uji paired sample T test dengan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan drill and practice efektif terhadap keterampilan mencuci pakaian anak hambatan intelektual kategori sedang di SLB N 1 Yogyakarta. Data hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil post-test lebih baik dari hasil pencapaian pre-test. Hasil pre-test subyek H 61,4% meningkat menjadi 89,3% pada hasil post-test dan hasil pre-test subyek R 64,3% meningkat menjadi 90,7% pada hasil post-test. Hasil ini didukung juga dengan hasil uji paired sample T test dengan SPSS menunjukkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,017 < 0,05, maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak.

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of drill and practice on the skill of washing clothes children's moderate intellectual disability in SLB N 1 Yogyakarta. This research uses quantitative approach with quasi experiment type research. Pre-test research design post-test group design. The subjects of the study were two children of intellectual disability being class IX SMPLB SLB N 1 Yogyakarta. Methods of data collection using test, observation, and interviews. Data analysis quantitative descriptive and parametric statistical calculation with paired sample T test with SPSS. The results showed that using drill and practice was effective against children moderat intellectual disability's washing clothes in SLB N 1 Yogyakarta. The result data showed that post-test result is better than pre-test result. The result of pre-test subjects H 61,4% increased to 89,3% in result of post-test and subject R result of 64,3% pre-test increased to 90,7% in result of post-test. These values indicate that each child is able to surpass the criteria of successful washing clothes practice that has been set at 87.5%. This result is supported also with result of paired sample T test with SPSS showing Sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.017 <0.05, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected.
