PENGARUH HALF SQUAT JUMP DAN SPLIT SQUAT JUMP TERHADAP KECEPATAN TENDANGAN MAE GERI CHUDAN ATLET SENIOR (USIA 21 TAHUN KEATAS) KABUPATEN KLATEN

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan half squat jump dan split squat jump
terhadap peningkatan kecepatan tendangan mae geri chudan atlet senior (usia 21 tahun keatas) kabupaten
Klaten.
Jenis penelitian adalah eksperimen “The Two Group Pretest-Postest Design”. Populasi dalam
penelitian ini adalah atlet karate usia 21 tahun keatas di kabupaten Klaten yang berjumlah 40 atlet.
Teknik sampling menggunakan purposive sampling, dengan kriteria: (1)daftar hadir minimal 75%
(keaktifan mengikuti latihan), (2)atlet senior karate yang sudah memiliki sabuk biru ke atas (sabuk coklat
kyu 3), (3)berusia 21 tahun keatas, (4)berlatih selama minimal 2 tahun. Diambil sampel 24 atlet.
Treatment berupa latihan half squat jump dan split squat jump. Analisis data menggunakan uji T taraf
signifikansi 5%.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh latihan half squat jump terhadap peningkatan
kecepatan tendangan mae geri chudan atlet karate usia 21 tahun keatas di kabupaten Klaten, dengan nilai
signifikansi 0.000 < 0.05 dan kenaikan kecepatan sebesar 5,00%. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan
bahwa ada pengaruh latihan split squat jump terhadap peningkatan kecepatan tendangan mae geri chudan
atlet karate usia 21 tahun keatas di kabupaten Klaten, dengan nilai signifikansi 0.001 < 0.05 dan kenaikan
kecepatan sebesar 5,89%. Secara keseluruhan latihan split squat jump lebih berpengaruh terhadap
kecepatan tendangan mae geri chudan, karena otot yang berperan lebih dominan adalah quadratriceps.

training, and split squat jump training, on velocity increasing on Mae Geri Chudan Kick for senior (21
years old and above) athlete on Klaten Regency.
The research type are experimental,“ the two group pretest post test design”. The population in
this research are karate athlete range on 21 years old and above in klaten regency, which quantity is 40
athletes. The sampling technique are purposive sampling, using some criteria: (1) presence at minimal
75% (activity on following the training schedule), (2) senior athlete with minimal blue belt or above
(brown belt kyu 3), (3) age are 21 years old and above. Taken 24 athletes. The treatment as variable
parameter area half squat jump and split squat jump. Data analysis are using T test, with significancy
degree at 5%.
Research result shows that there are some tight effects between half squat jump training towards
increasing Mae geri chudan kicking velocity on senior athletes age 17 – 35 years old in klaten regency,
with significancy degree 0.000 < 0.05 and speed increasing at 5.00%. Research result also shown that
there are some effects between split squat jump training towards increasing Mae geri chudan kicking
velocity on senior athletes age 17 – 35 years old in klaten regency, with significancy degree 0.001 < 0.05
and speed increasing at 5.89%. Overall, split squat jump training were having more significant effect
towards mae geri chudan kick velocity, because the main muscle take part was quadratriceps.
