Abstract
Kata kunci: barbell squat with toe raise, barbell walking lunges, power otot tungkai
Abstract This research was aimed to know the effect of barbell squat with toe raise and barbell lwalking lunges exercise towards leg power of UNY men futsal players. This was an experimental research by a “two groups pre-test-post-test design” design. The research population was players of UNY Futsal UKM numbered 50. Sample taking in this research was conducted by a purposive sampling with the following criteria (1) active players attended exercise of UNY Futsal UKM, (2) males (3) Attendance during treatment at least 75%, (4) Willing to attend all exercise programs composed, (5) Not in having illness condition. Based on that criteria, sample in this research that qualified numbered 20 players. All samples were treated by a leg power pretest to determine a treatment group, ranked its pretest value then was divided into two groups using an ordinal pairing with each group of 10 people. The instrument used a vertical jump test with validity of 0.978 and reliability of 0.989. Data analysis used a t test with significance of 5%. The research results showed that (1) There was a significant effect of barbell squat with toe raise towards leg muscle power of UNY men futsal players, with t count 3.748> t table l2.262, and significant value 0,005 < 0,05. (2) There was a significant effect of barbell walking lunges exercise towards leg muscle power of UNY men futsal players, with t count 2.535> t table 2.262, and significance value of 0,032 < 0,05. (3) There was no difference between barbell squat with toe raise and barbell walking lunges towards leg muscle power of UNY men futsal players with t count 1.032 < t table = 2.101 and sig. 0.316> 0,05. Keywords:barbell squat with toe raise, barbell walking lunges, leg muscle power
