Abstract


ABSTRAK  
 
Passing atas merupakan salah satu teknik dasar yang sangat dibutuhkan dalam permainan
bola voli. Teknik ini sangat memerlukan kekuatan otot lengan dan jari, metode latihan kekuatan
berupa push-up yang bertujuan untuk melatih otot lengan dan jari.  
Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan wall push-up
passing dan knee push-up passing terhadap kemampuan passing atas atlet bola voli putri remaja
klub Baja 78 Bantul. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain “two group
pre test post test design”.
Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes Brady Wall Volley Test Passing Atas dengan
validitas 0,86 dan reliabilitas 0,936. Analisis data menggunakan teknik uji-t yaitu dengan
membandingkan rerata mean antara pretest dengan posttest.  
Hasil analisis menunjukan : (1) ada pengaruh latihan wall push-up passing  terhadap
kemampuan passing atas atlet bola voli putri remaja Baja 78 Bantul, dengan nilai t

kemampuan passing atas atlet bola voli putri remaja Baja 78 Bantul, dengan nilai t

dengan selisih rata-rata sebesar 3,75. (3) latihan knee push-up lebih baik daripada latihan wall
push-up untuk meningkatkan kemampuan passing atas atlet putri remaja Baja 78 Bantul, karena
nilai rata-rata posttest knee push-up 32,67 lebih besar daripada wall push-up 32,17 dengan selisih
0,5.

 ABSTRACT

  Top passing is a basic technique needed in volleyball games. This technique requires
muscle and finger strength, training method in the form of push-up that aims to train the muscle
and finger strenght.
This research aims to determine the effect of wall push-up passing and knee push-up
passing exercises on the top passing ability in teenager VOLLEYBALL ATHLETES of CLUB
baja 78 BANTUL. This research used an experimental method with the design of "two group
pre-test post-test design".
The instrument used was a test of the Brady Wall Volley Top Passing Test with the
validity is 0.86 and reliability is 0.936. Data analysis of this research used t-test technique by
comparing mean between pretest and posttest.
The results of the analysis show: (1) there is an effect of wall push-up passing training on the
passing ability in teenager volleyball athletes of club baja 78 Bantul, with a t count is 5.645 and
significant level is 0.000., T table value is 2.201. Due to the value of t arithmetic is > t table and
from the significance level of value  that is <0.05 with the mean pretest is 29.42 and the mean
posttest is 32.17 with an average difference is 2.75. (2) there is an effect of knee push-up passing
training on the passing ability of in teenager volleyball athletes of
club baja 78 Bantul, with a t count is 5.109 and  significant level is 0.000., T table value is 2.201.
Due to the value of t arithmetic is > t table and from the significance level of value is <0.05 with
the mean pretest is 28.91 and posttest mean is 32.67 with an average difference is 3.75. (3) knee
push-up training is better than wall push-up training to improve the passing ability in teenager
volleyball athletes of club baja 78 , because the average posttest knee push-up score is 32.67
bigger than 32 wall push-ups, 17 with a difference of 0.5.
