HUBUNGAN ANTARA KOORDINASI MATA DAN TANGAN TERHADAP KETEPATAN LEMPARAN ATAS SOFTBALL ANGGOTA UKM BASEBALL-SOFTBALL UNY

Abstract

Abstrak Softball adalah salah satu olahraga yang sedang populer di Indonesia khususnya di Yogyakarta. Softball merupakan permainan beregu yang mengutamakan memukul dan melempar. Sedangkan kemampuan melempar tiap individu berbeda, contohnya postur tubuh, posisi lengan, posisi kaki dan koordinasi juga harus baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur hubungan koordinasi mata dan tangan terhadap ketepatan lemparan atas softball anggota UKM baseball-softball UNY. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasional menggunakan metode survey dan teknik pengambilan data dilakukan tes dan pengukuran, dengan tes koordinasi mata dan tangan dari Ismaryati dengan nilai validitas sebesar 0,92 dan nilai reliabilitasnya sebesar 0,835. Sedangkan validitas untuk intsrumen ketepatan lemparan atas sebesar 0,70 dan nilai reliabilitisnya sebesar 0,72. Penelitian dilaksanakan di lapangan baseball-softball Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta pada bulan april 2017. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anggota UKM baseball-softball UNY yang berjumlah 26 orang. Data hasil tes dan pengukuran kemudian dianalisis untuk menguji hipotesis dengan rumus pearson product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara koordinasi mata dan tangan terhadap ketepatan lemparan atas softball anggota UKM baseball-softball UNY. Dengan hasil hubungan koordinasi mata dan tangan terhadap lemparan atas adalah sebesar 0,729 menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan. Sehingga koordinasi mata dan tangan membuktikan bahwa seseorang yang mempunyai koordinasi yang baik maka akurasinya juga sama baiknya. Kata kunci: koordinasi mata dan tangan, ketepatan, lemparan atas, softball. Abstract Softball is one of the most popular sports in Indonesia especially in Yogyakarta. Softball is a team game that prioritizes hit and throw. While the ability to throw each individual is different, for example posture, arm position, foot position and coordination should also be good. This study aims to measure the relationship of eye and hand coordination to the precise overhand throwing of softball member UKM baseball-softball UNY. This research is a correlation research using survey method and data retrieval technique done by test and measurement, with eye and hand coordination test from Ismaryati with validity value equal to 0,92 and reliability value equal to 0,835. Whereas the validity for the insrumen accuracy of the upper throw is 0.70 and the reliability value is 0.72. The research was conducted at the baseball-softball field of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta in April 2017. The subject of this research is a member of UKM baseball-softball UNY which amounted to 26 people. The test result and measurement data are then analyzed to test the hypothesis with Pearson product moment formula. The results show that there is a relationship between eye and hand coordination to the precise overhand throwing of softball members of UKM baseball-softball UNY. With the result of eye and hand coordination relationship to the overhand throw are 0.729 indicates that there is a significant relationship. So the coordination of the eyes and hands prove that someone who has a good coordination then the accuracy is also just as good.
