HUBUNGAN KEKUATAN OTOT LENGAN DAN KOORDINASI MATA-TANGAN DENGAN KETEPATAN SERVIS ATAS BOLAVOLI PESERTA EKSTRAKURIKULER SMA NEGERI 1 PUNDONG BANTUL

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kekuatan otot lengan dan koordinasi mata-tangan dengan ketepatan servis atas peserta ekstrakurikuler bolavoli SMA Negeri 1 Pundong tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasional dengan metode survei, Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan pengukuran. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA Negeri 1 Pundong. Sampel penelitian adalah peserta ektrakurikuler dengan menggunakan teknik purposive. Analisis data menggunakan korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kekuatan otot lengan dengan ketepatan servis atas bolavoli dengan hasil, rhitung sebesar 0,425 > nilai r(0,05)(30) sebesar 0,361. Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara koordinasi mata-tangan dengan ketepatan servis atas bolavoli dengan hasil, rhitung sebesar 0,593 > nilai r(0,05)(30) sebesar 0,361. Secara bersama-sama ada hubungan yang signifikan kekuatan otot lengan dan koordinasi mata-tangan dengan ketepatan servis atas dengan hasil, Fhitung sebesar 10,938 > F(2)(28) = 3,34. Dengan demikian terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kekuatan otot lengan dan koordinasi mata-tangan dengan ketepatan servis atas peserta ekstrakurikuler SMA N 1 Pundong. Abstract This study aims to find out the relationship between the arm muscle strength and eye-hand coordination and the accuracy of the overhand serve the extracurricular volleyball participants at PSHS 1 of Pundong, in the 2016/2017 academic year. This was a correlational study using the survey method. The data were collected by tests and measurements. The research population comprised students of PSHS 1 Pundong. The research sample consisted of extracurricular participants. The data analysis used the Pearson Product Moment correlation. The results of the study show that: There is a significant relationship between the arm muscle strength and the accuracy of the overhand volleyball serve, indicated by robserved = 0.425 > r(0.05)(30) = 0.361; There is a significant relationship between the eye-hand coordination and the accuracy of the overhand volleyball serve, indicated by robserved = 0.593 > r(0.05)(30) = 0.361; and Simultaneously, there is a significant relationship between the arm muscle strength and eye-hand coordination and the accuracy of the overhand volleyball serve, indicated by Fobserved = 10.938 > F(2)(28) = 3.34. Therefore, there is a significant relationship between the arm muscle strength and eye-hand coordination and the accuracy of the overhand serve the extracurricular participants at PSHS 1 Pundong.
