PERBEDAAN KETEPATAN OVERHEAD SMASH SILANG POSISI GENAP DAN OVERHEAD SMASH SILANG POSISI GANJIL DI SEKOLAH BULUTANGKIS NITIKAN YOGYAKARTA PADA USIA 12-15 TAHUN

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh penempatan shuttlecock hasil overhead smash siswa usia 12-15 tahun di Sekolah Bulutangkis Nitikan Yogyakarta masih sering jauh dari sisi luar garis lapangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan ketepatan overhead smash silang posisi genap dan overhead smash silang posisi ganjil di Sekolah Bulutangkis Nitikan Yogyakarta pada usia 12-15 Tahun.Penelitian merupakan penelitian komparatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Seluruh siswa usia 12-15 tahun di sekolah bulutangkis Nitikan Yogyakarta yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Teknik pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes dan pengukuran. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes ketepataan pukulan overhead smash silang kanan dan pukulan overhead smash silang kiri . Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t.Hasil uji-t memperoleh nilai bahwa t hitung sebesar 2,586 > 2,024 (t- tabel) dan besar nilai signifikansi probability 0,014 < 0,05, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, berarti ada perbedaan ketepatan overhead smash silang posisi genap dan overhead smash silang posisi ganjil di Sekolah Bulutangkis Nitikan Yogyakarta pada usia 12-15 Tahun. Apabila dilihat dari rerata smash silang posisi genap sebesar 33 dan rerata smash silang posisi ganjil sebesar 28,85 maka diperoleh angka mean difference sebesar 4,15. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa smash silang posisi genap lebih baik 14,38% dibandingkan rerata smash silang posisi ganjil.Kata Kunci : overhead smash silang, posisi smash, bulutangkis Abstract This research was conducted for the shuttlecock placement of students’ overhead smash aged 12-15 years old at Nitikan Badminton school of Yogyakarta which was often distant from the outer side of the court. This research aimed to identify the accuracy differences of even and odd cross overhead smash of the students aged 12-15 years old of Nitikan Badminton school of Yogyakarta.It is comparative research. The subjects of this research were 20 students aged 12- 15 years old of Nitikan Badminton school of Yogyakarta. The data collection techniques used were test and measurement. The instruments of this research were tests of shot accuracy of right and left cross overhead smash for the students aged 12-15 years old at Nitikan Badminton school of Yogyakarta. The data analysis technique was t-test. The results of t-test showed that t hitung was 2.586 > 2.024 (t-table) and the probability significance score was 0.014 < 0.05, so Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. It means that there was different accuracy of even and odd cross overhead smash of the students aged 12-15 years old of Nitikan Badminton school of Yogyakarta. The mean score of even cross smash was 33 and that of odd cross smash was 28.85, so the mean difference score was 4.15. It showed that even cross smash was better 14.38% than odd cross smash.
