TINGKAT PEMAHAMAN SISWA TERHADAP USAHA KESEHATAN SEKOLAH DI SMA NEGERI 1 GAMPING

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perilaku siswa yang tidak mempraktikan gaya hidup sehat dan salahnya penerapan ruang Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS). Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui tingginya tingkat pemahaman siswa terhadap Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS) di SMA Negeri 1 Gamping. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan satu variabel. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survey dengan teknik pengambilan datanya menggunakan instrumen tes pemahaman dalam bentuk pilihan ganda milik Dede Irawan dengan validitas 0,355 dan reabilitas 0,938. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMA Negeri 1 Gamping bejumlah 381, Pengambilan sampel dengan tabel nomogram Hery King menggunakan simple random sampling sehingga ditentukan sampel sebanyak 186 siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif yang ditungakan dalam bentuk persentase. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pemahaman siswa SMA Negeri 1 Gamping terhadap Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS) adalah yang berkategori sangat tinggi sebesar 3,23 % (6 siswa), tinggi sebesar 31,18% (58 siswa), sedang sebesar 38,71% (72 siswa), rendah 19,89 % (13 siswa), sangat rendah 6,99%. Kesimpulan yang didapat bahwa tingkat pemahaman siswa terhadap UKS berdasarkan faktor pendidikan kesehatan, pelayanan kesehatan, pembinaan sekolah sehat berdasarkan penjumlahan nilai dari semua faktor didapatkan bahwa tingkat pemahaman siswa terhadap Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS) pada kategori sedang. Kata Kunci: Pemahaman, UKS, Siswa SMA. Abstract This research was motivated by the lack behavior of students of a healthy life and incorrect application of Health School Institution (UKS). This research aims to know the level of students’ understanding of School Health Institution (UKS) in State High School 1 Gamping. This is a quantitative descriptive research with one variable. The method used is the survey method with data collection technique used was an instrument comprehension tests in the form of multiple choice according to Dede Irawan with validity and reability of 0.355 and 0.938 respectively. The population were 381 students of State High School 1 Gamping. The samples were determined with simple random sampling with nomogram tables of Hery King with a total of 186 students. Data analyses techniques used was descriptive analysis in the form of a percentage. The results of this research showed that the level of students’ comprehension of State High School 1 Gamping of Health School Institution (UKS) was very high categories of 3.23% (6 students), high category of 31.18% (58 students), medium category of 38.71% (72 students), poor category of 19.89% (14 students), very poor category of 6.99%. The conclusions were the level of students’ comprehension of State High School 1 Gamping of Health School Institution (UKS) was medium category.
