PERSEPSI SISWA KELAS VIII TERHADAP PEMBELAJARAN AKTIVITAS AIR DI SMP NEGERI 2 KLATEN

Abstract

Abstrak Siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Klaten sudah menempuh pembelajaran aktivitas air. Namun persepsi terhadap pembelajaran tersebut belum diketahui, karena itu perlu adanya penelitian dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi siswa kelas VIII terhadap pembelajaran aktivitas air di SMP Negeri 2 Klaten. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survey. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket dengan 20 butir pernyataan. Uji coba instrumen penelitian dilakukan pada 34 siswa kelas VIII G SMP Negeri 2 Klaten. Angket dinyatakan valid dan reliabel (r hitung = 0,841). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII D dan C SMP Negeri 2 Klaten yang berjumlah 67 responden yang ditentukan menggunakan metode cluster sampling dengan cara mengundi secara acak. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif dalam bentuk deskriptif dan distribusi frekuensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa persepsi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Klaten terhadap pembelajaran aktivitas air yang masuk kategori sangat positif 65,7%, kategori positif 34,3%, dan tidak ada (0%) responden mempunyai persepsi yang kurang positif dan negatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, maka persepsi siswa kelas VIII terhadap pembelajaran aktivitas air di SMP Negeri 2 Klaten sebagian besar adalah sangat positif. The perception about it is still unknown, so the research about perception is needed to do, with purpose to describe perception of eight grade student towards water activity learning at Klaten Junior High School 2. This research is descriptive research with quantitative approach. While the research method is survey method. The instrument used is questionnaire with 20 item of statement. Instrument testing was tested at 34 students of Klaten Junior High School 2 (VIII G class). Questionnaire instrument stated valid and reliable (r-count = 0,841). Subjects of the research are 67 respondents of Junior High School 2 students (VIII D and VIII C classes) which is defined by cluster sampling method. The data analysis technique is statistic descriptive technique in form of descriptive and distribution frequency. The result of the research shows that the perception of eight grade student towards water activity learning at Klaten Junior High School 2 are 65,7% very positive, 34,3% positive, and 0% negative. According to the result, the perception of eight grade student toward water activity learning at Klaten Junior High School 2 are mostly very positive. Keywords: Perception, Water activity learning.
