KEMAMPUAN MOTORIK SISWA KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR NEGERI 3 PENGASIH KECAMATAN PENGASIH KABUPATEN KULON PROGO TAHUN AJARAN 2016/2017

Abstrak
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi adanya kesenjangan kemampuan penguasaan gerak siswa yang
cenderung lambat dalam memberikan respon terhadap instruksi guru pendidikan jasmani. Penelitian
ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan motorik siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 3
Pengasih, kecamatan Pengasih, kabupaten Kulon Progo Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian ini
adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, hanya menggambarkan situasi yang sedang berlangsung, tanpa
pengujian hipotesis dan menggunakan metode survei dalam bentuk tes dan pengukuran. Populasi
dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 3 Pengasih kecamatan Pengasih
kabupaten Kulon Progo Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 26 siswa terdiri dari 16 putra dan 10
putri. Instrumen yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan motorik dari Nurhasan, (2004:
6.6) yang item tesnya terdiri dari: tes shuttle-run 4 x 10 meter, tes lempar tangkap bola jarak 1 meter
dengan tembok, tes stork stand positional balance, tes lari cepat 30 meter. Teknik analisis data
menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa
kemampuan motorik siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 3 Pengasih, Kecamatan Pengasih,
Kabupaten Kulon Progo Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017 terdapat 2 siswa (7,7%) kategori sangat tinggi, 5
siswa (19,2 %) kategori tinggi, 11 siswa (42,3%) kategori sedang, 6 siswa (23,1%) kategori rendah,
dan 2 siswa (7,7%) kategori sangat rendah.

Abstract
This research background is the gap on students' movement control ability which tends to be
slow in responding to the instruction of physical education teacher. The research intends to determine
the motor ability of fourth grade students in State Elementary School 3 Pengasih, Pengasih Dstrict,
Kulon Progo Regency in the academic year 2016/2017. The research was descriptive quantitative
study, only describing the ongoing situation, without testing the hypothesis and using survey methods
in the form of tests and measurements. The population of the research was the fourth grade students of
State Elementary School 3 Pengasih, Pengasih Dstrict, Kulon Progo Regency in the academic year
2016/2017 of 26 students consisting of 16 male and 10 female students. The instrument used in the
research was motor skill test from Nurhasan, (2004: 6.6) whose test items consist of: shuttle-run test 4
x 10 meter, 1 meter throw- catch the ball test to the wall, stork stand positional balance test, 30 meter
sprint.  The data analysis technique used descriptive quantitative analysis with percentage. The result
of the research shows that motor ability of fourth grade students of State Elementary School 3
Pengasih, Pengasih District, Kulon Progo Regency in the academic year 2016/2017 is found that 2
students (7,7%) are in very high category, 5 students (19,2%)  are in high category, 11 students
(42.3%) are in medium category, 6 students (23.1%) are in low category, and 2 students (7,7%) are in
very low category.
