Tingkat Partisipasi Siswa Dalam Permainan Kasti Kelas IV Dan V Sekolah Dasar Negeri Ngebel Kecamatan Kasihan Kabupaten Bantul Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017

Abstrak
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif yaitu penelitian yang bertujuan untuk
mengetahui tingkat partisipasi siswa dalam Permainan Kasti pada siswa kelas IV dan V Sekolah Dasar
Negeri Ngebel Kecamatan Kasihan Kabupaten Bantul. Populasi dalam penelitian ini siswa kelas IV dan V
yang berjumlah 65 siswa, yang terdiri dari kelas IV sebanyak 14 siswa putra dan 18 siswa putri dan kelas
V sebanyak 16 siswa putra dan 17 siswa putri yang seluruhnya digunakan sebagai subjek penelitian.
Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan instrumen berupa angket yang berisi 32 butir pernyataan dengan
4 alternatif jawaban yaitu sangat setuju, setuju, tidak setuju, dan sangat tidak setuju dengan menggunakan
analisis deskriptif atau statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa tingkat partisipasi siswa
dalam Permainan Kasti di sekolah Dasar Negeri Ngebel Kecamatan Kasihan Kabupaten Bantul
berkategori sangat baik 7 siswa (10,80%), baik 6 siswa (9,20%), cukup 30 siswa (46,20%), kurang 16
siswa (24,60%), sangat kurang 6 siswa (9,20%).

THE LEVEL OF PARTICIPATION IN BASEBALL AMONG GRADES IV AND VELEMENTARY STUDENTS AT SD N NGEBEL KASIHAN BANTUL IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR OF 2016/2017

ABSTRACT
This research was conducted due to the unavailability of existing researches discussing the level of
students’ participation in baseball. It was aimed at finding out the level of participation in baseball
among grades IV and V elementary students at SD N Ngebel Kasihan Bantul in the academic year of
2016/2017. This research was a descriptive quantitative study, which aimed to find out the level of
participation in baseball among grades IV and V elementary students at SD N Ngebel Kasihan Bantul.
The population of the study included grades IV and V students, consisting of 14 male and 18 female
students for grade IV and 16 male and 17 female students for grade V. Those all students were acted as
the subjects of the research. The data was collected using questionnaires, containing 32 questions with 4
scales; strongly agree, agree, disagree, and strongly disagree. They were then analyzed using descriptive
analysis or descriptive statistics. The results of the research showed that the level of participation in
baseball among grades IV and V elementary students at SD N Ngebel Kasihan Bantul was considered
very good (7 students/ 10,80%), good (6 students/ 9,20%), enough (30 students/ 46,20%), poor (16
students/ 24,60%), very poor (6 students/ 9,20%).
