PENGALAMAN GURU PENJAS SEKOLAH DASAR DALAM PENGEMBANGAN PROFESI GURU DI D.I YOGYAKARTA

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengalaman guru Penjas Sekolah Dasar dalam
kegiatan pengembangan profesi yang selama ini diikuti di D.I Yogyakarta. Desain penelitian ini
adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan dari Husserl yaitu fenomenologi. Partisipan adalah
guru Penjas Sekolah Dasar di D.I Yogyakarta yang berjumlah 10 orang. Teknik pengambilan data
menggunakan teknik wawancara mendalam-terbuka. Peneliti menggunakan panduan wawancara
yang sudah divalidasi oleh ahli. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengalaman guru Penjas
dalam pengembangan profesi di D.I Yogyakarta yaitu; (1) Pengembangan profesi dilaksanakan
dengan diklat, seminar, workshop, dan KKG (2) Metode kegiatan pengembangan profesi yang
sering diikuti yaitu teori. Selain itu faktor yang mendukung pengembangan profesi yaitu dukungan
dari sekolah, fasilitas yang diberikan oleh pihak penyelenggara dan hasil yang bermanfaat bagi
mereka. Faktor yang menghambat tercapainya pengembangan profesi yaitu pembagian waktu yang
tidak sesuai antara teori dan praktik, fasilitas yang kurang memadai di sekolah, serta peserta yang
tidak fokus pada pembicara.

Abstract
This study aims to determine the experiences of Physical Education teachers on the
professional development activities that had been followed in Yogyakarta Special Region. This was
a qualitative research according to Husserl namely phenomenology. The participants were
Physical Education teachers of Elementary School in Yogyakarta Special Region with a total of 10
people. Data collection techniques used was interview technique of in-depth/open. The researchers
was using an interview guide that has been validated by the expert. The results showed that
experiences of Physical Education teachers on the professional development activities that had
been followed in Yogyakarta Special Region namely; (1) The Professional Development
implemented by training, seminars, workshops, and KKG (2) The Method of professional
development activities were the theories. The supporting factors given by the school for
professional development activities included the facilities and the beneficial results. The inhibiting
factors of the professional development were the inappropriate time division between theory and
practice, inadequate facilities at schools, as well as the unfocused participants on the speaker.
