Abstract


Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola pengembangan profesi guru PJOK sekolah dasar
Muhammadiyah di wilayah UPT Yogyakarta Barat, DIY. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif
kualitatif dengan pendekatan naturalistik. Subyek penelitian yaitu guru PJOK yang bertugas di SD
Muhammadiyah di wilayah UPT Yogyakarta Barat, DIY. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini
ada tiga macam, yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan
dalam penelitian ini adalah model Strauss dan Corbin (1990) yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan, yaitu open
coding, axial coding, dan selective coding. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pola pengembangan
profesi guru PJOK di Muhammadiyah belum baik, dikarenakan struktur dan prosedur di Muhammadiyah
belum tersusun dengan baik. Pengembangan profesi guru PJOK di Muhammadiyah masih berada di
bawah dinas pendidikan dan instansi terkait (LPPMP). Kenyataannya di Muhammadiyah terdapat majelis
Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah (Dikdasmen) yang menaungi pendidikan di Muhammadiyah.

Abstract
This study aims to investigate the pattern of the professional development of teachers of PESH at
Muhammadiyah elementary schools in TSU of West Yogyakarta, YSR. The study used the qualitative
descriptive method using the naturalistic approach. The research subjects were teachers of PESH at
Muhammadiyah elementary schools in the areas of TSU of West Yogyakarta, YSR. The data collecting
methods consisted of three types, namely observations, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis
technique in the study was the model by Strauss and Corbin (1990) consisting of three stages, namely
open coding, axial coding, and selective coding. The results of the study show that the pattern of the
professional development of teachers of PESH at Muhammadiyah has not been good because the
structure and procedure at Muhammadiyah have not been well designed. The professional development
of teachers of PESH at Muhammadiyah is still under the office of education and related institution
(LPPMP). In reality, at Muhammadiyah there is an assembly of Primary and Secondary Education
guiding education at Muhammadiyah.
