Abstrak
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Tingkat Pemahaman Siswa Kelas Atas
Terhadap Pembelajaran Permainan Tradisional di Sekolah Dasar Swasta se-Kecamatan Mlati
Sleman Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif
dengan metode survei. instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket dengan validitas 0,769 dan
reliabilitas 0,879. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan adalah Siswa Kelas Atas (4, 5, dan 6) di 5
Sekolah Dasar Swasta Se-Kecamatan Mlati Sleman diantaranya yakni SD Kanisius Duwet, SD
Muh Blunyah, SD Yaa Bunayya, SD Budi Utama, SD Khoiru Ummah yang berjumlah 341
anak. Analisis yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan persentase. Berdasarkan
hasil penelitian diketahui tingkat pemahaman siswa terhadap pembelajaran permainan
tradisional di Sekolah Dasar Swasta se-Kecamatan Mlati Sleman Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019
sebagian besar berkategori baik dengan persentase 49,85 % berjumlah 170 siswa, kategori
sedang dengan persentase 40,17 % berjumlah 137 siswa, kategori kurang sebesar 5,86 %
berjumlah 20 siswa, kategori sangat baik sebesar 4,11 % berjumlah 14 siswa dan kategori sangat
kurang 0 %. Hasil tersebut disimpulkan tingkat pemahaman siswa terhadap pembelajaran
permainan tradisional di Sekolah Dasar Swasta se-Kecamatan Mlati Sleman Tahun Ajaran
2018/2019 adalah baik.

Abstract
The research aims at figuring out the level of upper grade student understanding of
traditional game learning in private elementary schools throughout Mlati District, Sleman
Academic Year 2018/2019. Research design was descriptive quantitative research with survey
method. Instrument used was by questionnaire with validity 0.769 and reliability 0.879. The
research subjects used were upper grade students (Grade 4, 5, and 6) in 5 private elementary
schools in Mlati District Sleman including SD Kanisius Duwet, SD Muh Blunyah, SD Yaa
Bunayya, SD Budi Utama, SD Khoiru Ummah totaling 341 students. The analysis used was by
descriptive quantitative with percentage. Based on the research results, the level of upper grade
student understanding of traditional game learning in private elementary schools throughout
Mlati District, Sleman Academic Year 2018/2019 is mostly in good category with percentage
49.85% totalling 170 students, medium category with percentage 40.17% totalling 137
students, less category 5.86% of 20 students, very good category 4.11% of 14 students and very
less category 0%. These results can be concluded that the level of upper grade student
understanding of traditional game learning in private elementary schools throughout Mlati
District, Sleman Academic Year 2018/2019 is good.
