Abstract


This research aimed to describe the learning implementation of short story writing on grade X students of
Taman Madya Ibu Pawiyatan Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. The learning implementation of short story writing on
grade X students of Taman Madya Ibu Pawiyatan Tamansiswa Yogyakarta was reviewed in terms of learning
implementation process, method, media, material, and learning evaluation. The type of this research is qualitative
research using descriptive method. The subjects of this research were the teacher of Bahasa Indonesia subject and
grade X students of Taman Madya Ibu Pawiyatan Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. The object of this research was  the
learning of short story writing on grade X students of Taman Madya Ibu Pawiyatan Tamansiswa Yogyakarta which
covered the learning implementation process, method, media, material, and learning evaluation. The results of this
study showed that the learning implementation of short story writing based on competence based 16.2 on grade X
students of Taman Madya Ibu Pawiyatan Tamansiswa has been going according the lesson plan even though the
learning implementation on second meeting was not listed on the lesson plan. The scores obtained by the students
were achieved the minimum score criteria. The minimum score is 60 while the average scores obtained by the
students were 69.
