PENGARUH PERSEPSI TENTANG PEMBELAJARAN SASTRA TERHADAP KEMEMPUAN APRESIASI SASTRA SISWA KELAS XI SMK NEGERI SE-KABUPATEN KEBUMEN
Abstract
The purposes of the study are, to determine: (1) the perception of class XI
student in Kebumen towards learning literature, (2) the student’s ability of literary
appreciation, and (3) the influence of class XI student’s perception on literary
learning to the ability of literature appreciation.
The research approach is using Ex Post Facto. The place of the research is
conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Ambal, SMK Negeri 1 Kebumen, and SMK Negeri 2
Kebumen with the time of implementation at 12, 13 and 15 August 2015. The
study populations of class XI student from Vocational School in Kebumen are
2384 students. Samples are taken by simple random sampling of 120 students
from Isaac and Michael formulas. The collecting data is using closed
questionnaire with variables: perceptions of teaching literature and literary
appreciation ability. The researcher is using the test of empirical validity and the
contents also reliability with Cronbach alpha formula. Test requirements analysis
is done with normality and linearity test. The analysis is using descriptive
statistics and simple linear regression.
The survey results revealed: (1) the perception of students towards
learning literature in both categories by 75% ≥ mean 64.4833, (2) the ability of
appreciation of literature in both categories mean 81.9750 ≥ 70%, (3) there is the
influence of class XI students' perceptions of Vocational School in Keebumen on
the learning ability of literature to literature appreciation with a coefficient of
determination of 37.3%.
