PENDIDIKAN ANAK DI KAWASAN BERISIKO KAMPUNG SOSROWIJAYAN KOTA YOGYAKARTA

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pendidikan anak di kawasan berisiko Kampung Sosrowijayan Kota Yogyakarta dengan melihat: (1) Proses pendidikan yang diterapkan pada institusi keluarga (2) Proses pendidikan yang diterapkan masyarakat melalui penyelenggaraan hak-hak anak dan program Jam Belajar Masyarakat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif-kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah keluarga yang meliputi orangtua dan anak serta tokoh masyarakat sebagai representasi masyarakat. Setting penelitian dilakukan di Kampung Sosrowijayan, Kota Yogyakarta. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif, dengan tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Orangtua memahami pentingnya pendidikan anak (2) Tujuan orangtua dalam pendidikan anak termasuk tujuan umum (3) Isi pendidikan meliputi nilai, pengetahuan, keterampilan dan selalu berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari (4) Alat pendidikan meliputi pembiasaan, pengawasan, perintah, larangan, ganjaran, dan hukuman serta digunakan dengan baik oleh orangtua (5) Semua fungsi keluarga diterapkan cukup baik seperti fungsi agama, fungsi biologis-ekonomi, fungsi perlindungan-kasih sayang, fungsi sosialisasi, dan fungsi pendidikan (6) Orangtua selalu berusaha membentuk lingkungan belajar yang baik bagi anak (7) Pemenuhan hak-hak anak tercukupi jika dilihat dari segi minimnya penyimpangan, hanya kesadaran dan partisipasi masyarkat akan pemenuhan hak-hak anak masih rendah, serta program JBM belum optimal (8) Praktek pendidikan anak di lingkungan keluarga memiliki tendensi protektif terhadap dampak lingkungan sekitar.

Abstract
This research was aimed to describe children education in a risky region of Sosrowijayan Village of Yogyakarta by viewing: (1) education process applied in a family institution, (2) education process applied by community through the implementation of children rights and Community Learning Hour program. This research was a descriptive-qualitative research by a case study approach. This research subject was family that covered parents and children and also community figure as community representations. The research setting was conducted in Sosrowijayan Village, Yogyakarta. Data was gathered using an interactive model by data gathering stages, reduction, presentation and conclusion drawing. Data validity used a source and technique triangulation technique. The research results showed that: (1) parents understand the importance of children education, (2) parents objective in children education included general objective, (3) education content covered values, knowledge, skills and is always related to daily lives, (4) education device covered customization, surveillance, instruction, prohibition, reward and punishment and is also applied well by Nparents, (5) all family functions were applied sufficiently well such as religion, biologic-economic, protection-compassion, socialization and educational functions, (6) parents always attempted to form a good learning environment for children, (7) children rights fulfillment were sufficed if viewed from minimum deviation facets, only community awareness and participation on children rights fulfillment was still low and also JBM program has not optimal, (8) children educational practice in family environment had a protective tendency towards its surroundings environment.
