Abstract


Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan budaya sekolah yang ada di SMP N 1 Depok Yogyakarta.
Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh warga sekolah dari kepala sekolah, guru, siswa dan kariyawan di SMP N 1 Depok Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan deskriptif dengan metode pengumpulan data yaitu dokumentasi, observasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model analisis interaktif Miles and Huberman meliputi pengumpulan data, kondensasi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Memiliki kultur sekolah positif, Artefak fisik yang ada sudah menggambarkan kultur sekolah positif, dan sudah membudayakan nilai-nilai kebersihan, kerapian dan kedisiplinan. Demikian juga dengan Artefak non-fisik sudah menggambarkan kultur sekolah positif. (2) Semua warga juga berperan dalam pembudayaan kultur sekolah. Peran kepala sekolah ditunjukan dengan memberikan contoh yang baik dan memberi dukungan terhadap setiap program dan kegiatan yang bertujuan memajukan sekolah. Peran guru ditunjukan dengan memberikan pelajaran, motivasi belajar dan membudayakan nilai-nilai kepada siswa. Peran siswa dalam mewujudkan budaya sekolah yang positif dengan mengikuti peraturan sekolah dan belajar dengan baik di sekolah. Peran karyawan ditunjukkan dengan bersikap displin dan mengikuti peraturan yang ada termasuk dalam membantu membudayakan budaya sekolah. (3) Faktor pendukung dalam pelaksanaan budaya sekolah yaitu visi misi, kepemimpinan, hubungan warga sekolah, kurikulum dan pembelajaran. Faktor penghambat pelaksanaan budaya sekolah yaitu perawatan, guru dan siswa.

Abstract
This research aimed to describe the existing school culture in Depok Yogyakarta National Junior High School 1.
The subjects of this research were the entire school communities which are the headmaster, teachers, students and employees of Depok Yogyakarta National Junior High School 1. The approach used in this research was descriptive approach with data collection method through observation, documentation and interview. The data was analyzed by using Miles and Huberman interactive model including data collection, data condensation, data display, conclution drawing/ verifying. In this research, the data was validated by using source and technique triangulations.
The research result shows that: (1) Has positive school culture. The physical artifact existed at Depok Yogyakarta National Junior High School 1 has described the positive school culture and has civilizing the sanity value, discipline and immaculacy, in similar with non physical artifact that describes positive school culture as well. (2) the entire communities of have roles in civilizing the school culture. The headmaster shows his role by performing decent examples and supporting every programs and activities related to the school improvement. The teachers show their roles by giving education, motivation and civilizing the cultures towards the students. The students show their roles to embodying the positive school culture by following school regulations and put decent efforts in learning at school. The employees show their role by being discipline and obeying the existing rules including supporting the civilization of school culture. (3) The supporting factors are vision, mission, and leadership, the relation between school communities, curriculum, as well as education learning.
