ANALYSIS OF MATURITY LEVEL OF E-LEARNING USE IN SMK MUHAMMADIYAH 1 YOGYAKARTA

Abstract


SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta has been using E-Learning since 2015 but it has not been optimal yet. Assessment of the maturity level of E-Learning usage is necessary because the school intends to optimize to use of E-Learning. This study aims to determine the level of maturity of the use of E-Learning in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta. This is a descriptive research using COBIT 4.1 framework using 0-5 maturity scale. This study took 2 domains of DS (Delivery and support) and ME (Monitor and Evaluate). 2 domain were translated into 60 questions for the admin and 11 questions for the teachers. This research is done at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta. The respomdents of this research are 3person from admin and 8 person from teachers. The results show the maturity level of E-Learning use in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta for the DS (Delivery and support) domain is currently at level 2, where SOP has started to be established. All processes and activities are performed and repeated though even though not yet referring to the SOP, meanwhile for ME (Monitor and Evaluate) domains are at level 1. Schools have awareness in doing all IT processes and activities for monitoring and evaluating the use of E-Learning but no school has clear procedures. While the conditions to be achieved for the domain DS and ME are at the level 4. Where all the IT processes are done according to SOP and monitored periodically.
