DEVELOPMENT OF THE PERIPHERAL COMPUTER GAME BASED DESKTOP AS A LEARNING TOOLS IN BASIC COMPUTER ASSEMBLY FOR GRADE X STUDENTS AT SMK N 2 YOGYAKARTA

Abstract


This study proposed at: (1) developing application of peripheral computer game based desktop, (2) knowing the quality test result of this game based on ISO 9126 standard, those are functionality, efficiency, portability and usability as well as testing on materials aspects. This study was research and development (R&D). The development applied waterfall models with research stages: (1) analyzing, (2) designing, (3) coding, and (4) testing. The data collecting technique used interview, observation, and questionnaire. The results show that: (1) developing application of peripheral computer game is type of snakes and ladders, it also allows 1 until 3 players in once. In other way, bonus features and materials about peripheral computer with the questions are also available. (2) The feasibility test results of this game application were: 100% (very good) for functionality aspect, 100% (very good) for efficiency aspect, 79% (good) for usability aspect, 100% (very good) for portability aspect, and 100% (very good) for materials aspect.
