ANALYSIS AND DEVELOPMENT OF TEACHER PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL SYSTEM BASED ON WEB

Abstract


This research aims to: (1) develop a web-based teacher performance appraisal information system to assist assessors in teacher performance appraisal activities, (2) test the functional suitability, usability, and reliability in web-based teacher performance appraisal information system to be eligible to use. This research use Research and Development (R & D) method by using Rational Unified Process (RUP) development model which consist of 4 stages, they are inception, elaboration, construction and transition. Functional suitability testing use black-box testing method by software developer. Usability test use questionnaire with respondent assessor and team of teacher performance appraisal. Testing reliability use stress testing with WAPT application. The result of this research are: (1) teacher performance appraisal information system which become assistant tool for assessors to facilitate calculation and recording, (2) functional suitability test get Feature Completeness value of 1 (Good), usability test get percentage score 91.3% (Very Good) and the Alpha Cronbach consistency value of 0.985 (Excellent), and reliability testing has an error rate of 0% and a 100% success rate (Good). The calculation of the value of teacher performance in this system has been validated by Supervisior of Teacher Performance Appraisal, and recap from the system has been recevied by DIKPORA DIY.
