Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan shuttle run dengan metode set meningkat repetisi
tetap dan set tetap repetisi meningkat terhadap peningkatan kelincahan gerak shadow 6 titik dalam bulutangkis atlet
usia 11-13 tahun di PB. Jogjaraya Yogyakarta.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain “two groups pre-test-post-test design”. Populasi
dalam penelitian ini adalah atlet PB. Jogjaraya Yogyakarta yang berjumlah 24 orang. Teknik sampling menggunakan
purposive sampling, dengan kriteria yaitu: (1) daftar hadir latihan dua bulan terakhir minimal 75% (keaktifan
mengikuti latihan), (2) pemain merupakan atlet PB. Jogjaraya, (3) berusia 11-13 tahun, (4) berjenis kelamin laki-laki.
Berdasarkan kriteria tersebut yang memenuhi berjumlah 18 atlet. Instrumen kelincahan gerakan kaki menggunakan
instrumen tes rangkaian olah kaki yang disusun oleh Tohar (1992: 200). Analisis data menggunakan uji t.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Ada pengaruh latihan shuttle run set meningkat repetisi tetap terhadap
peningkatan kelincahan gerak shadow 6 titik atlet usia 11-13 tahun di PB. Jogjaraya Yogyakarta, dengan t hitung 5,292
> t tabel 2,31, dan nilai signifikansi 0,001 < 0.05, dengan peningkatan persentase sebesar 9,93%. (2) Ada pengaruh
latihan shuttle run set tetap repetisi meningkat terhadap peningkatan kelincahan gerak shadow 6 titik atlet usia 11-13
tahun di PB. Jogjaraya Yogyakarta, dengan t hitung 96,100 > t tabel 2,31, dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0.05, dengan
peningkatan persentase sebesar 14,18%. (3) Metode shuttle run dengan set tetap repetisi meningkat lebih efektif untuk
peningkatan kelincahan gerak shadow 6 titik dalam bulutangkis atlet usia 11-13 tahun daripada latihan shuttle run
dengan set meningkat repetisi tetap, dengan selisih rata-rata posttest sebesar 0,667.

Abstract
This study intended in figuring out the effect of shuttle run drills with the method of increased sets fixeded reps
and fixed sets increased reps towards the agility improvement on 6 directions shadow drill in badminton for the
athletes aged 11-13 years old from PB. Jogjaraya, Yogyakarta.
This research used experimental methods with the design of "two groups pre-test-post-test design". The
population was the athletes of PB. Jogjaraya, Yogyakarta with the total of 24 people. The sampling employed
purposive sampling techniques, the criteria were: (1) a list of present practice in the last two months at least gained
75% (active training), (2) the player was an athlete of PB. Jogjaraya, (3), aged 11-13 years old, (4) the sex was male.
Based on these criteria, there were 18 athletes met the requirements. The instruments for leg motions agility was using
a series of test instruments if the feet were composed by Tohar (1992: 200). The data analysis was using the t test.
The results showed that: (1) There was an effect of shuttle run with the method of increased reps fixed sets on
the agility improvement of 6 directions shadow drill for the athletes aged 11-13 years old from PB. Jogjaraya,
Yogyakarta, with the score of t count at 5,292 > t table at 2.31, and 0.001 significant value of <0.05, with an increase
in the percentage at 9.93%. (2) There was an effect of shuttle run drill with the method of fixed sets increased reps
towards the agility improvement on 6 directions shadow drill motion for the athletes aged 11-13 years old from PB.
Jogjaraya, Yogyakarta, with the score of t count at 96.100 > t table at 2.31, and 0.000 significant value < 0.05, with a
percentage increase at 14.18%. (3) Shuttle run drill with a fixed set increased reps was more effective on the agility
improvement of 6 directions shadow drill in badminton for the athletes aged 11-13 years old than the shuttle run drills
with increased reps fixed sets, with an average difference for the posttest was at 0.667.
