PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS DENGAN MENERAPKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN QUANTUM TEACHING DI SD N BALONG

       Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri Balong melalui penerapan model Quantum dalam pembelajaran IPS. Jenis penelitian menggunakan model Kemmis Taggart. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 25 siswa. Teknik Pengumpulan data yaitu tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan hasil belajar IPS pada siswa kelas V melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching. Pada pratindakan, tidak ada siswa yang  (0%) yang memperoleh nilai ≥75. Pada siklus I sebanyak 18 siswa (78%) telah memperoleh nilai ≥70. Pada siklus II ketuntasan belajar siswa naik menjadi 83% atau 20 siswa memperoleh nilai ≥75. Secara keseluruhan peningkatan hasil belajar IPS siswa juga ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan nilai rata-rata. Nilai rata-rata pada kondisi awal sebelum tindakan sebesar 46,5, meningkat menjadi 78,6 pada siklus I, dan meningkat menjadi 82,3 pada akhir siklus II.

Abstract

This research is aimed at improving the Social Studies learning outcome by students of class V in SDN Balong through applying the Quantum Teaching model. This research is a type of classroom action research with Kemmis Taggart model. The subjects of this research are the students of class V  with a total of 25 students. The data collecting method used in this research are test, observation, and documentation. The data analyzing method used the quantitative descriptive and the qualitative descriptive. The results of this research show that there is an improvement in the Social Studies learn outcome. The improvement can be seen from the average test scores and the students learning completenesss percentage from the pre-action, post-test cycle I, and post-test cycle II. In the pre-action, there were no one student (0%) that had reached the KKM and the number increased to 18 students (78%) in cycle I and to 20 students (83%) in cycle II. Overall the results of the students out come  from learning the Social Studies subject can also be seen from an increase in average scores. The pre-action average score was 46,5 and the increased to 78,6 in cycle I and to 82,3 in cycle II.
