PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER MANDIRI PADA SISWA KELAS IV SD UNGGULAN AISYIYAH BANTUL

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pendidikan karakter mandiri di SD Unggulan Aisyiyah Bantul. Fokus penelitian yang diajukan adalah nilai-nilai karakter mandiri yang dikembangkan sesuai visi misi dan pendidikan karakter mandiri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa. Objek penelitian adalah pendidikan karakter mandiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis model interaktif Miles dan Huberman (reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan). Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter mandiri dapat dilihat dari aspek pengembangan diri, pengintegrasian dalam mata pelajaran, dan budaya sekolah. Aspek pengembangan diri dilihat dari kegiatan rutin, kegiatan spontan, keteladanan dan pengkondisian. Aspek pengintegrasian dalam mata pelajaran, pengintegrasian nilai karakter mandiri dalam perencanaan pembelajaran, mata pelajaran, dan strategi pembelajaran kooperatif, berbasis masalah dan kontekstual. Aspek budaya sekolah, pada kegiatan kurikuler, ekstrakurikuler, penciptaan suasana dan kebijakan sekolah.

Abstract

This study aims at describing the independent character education in elementary leading Aisyiyah Bantul. The focus of the proposed research are the values of self-developed characters according to the vision and mission of independent character education. This research was qualitative descriptive study. Subjects were principals, teachers, and students. The object of this research was independent character education. The data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used analysis techniques Miles and Huberman interactive model (data reduction, data display, and conclusion). Data validity test used triangulation techniques and resources. The results show that the independent character education can be seen from self-development, integration of subjects, and school culture aspects. Self development aspect can be seen on routine, spontaneous activities, exemplary and conditioning. Integration of subjects showed by integration of independent character values in lesson planning, subjects, and cooperative learning strategies, problem-based and contextual strategies. School culture aspect can be seen at the curricular activities, extracurricular, creation of ambience and school policies
