UPAYA MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS MELALUI PENGGUNAAN MEDIA AUDIO-VISUAL PADA SISWA KELAS IVB SD NEGERI I BLUNYAHAN

Abstrak 

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS dengan menggunakan media audio visual pada siswa kelas IVB SD Negeri 1 Blunyahan, Sewon, Bantul, DIY. Jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan secara kolaborasi dengan guru kelas. Subjek dalam penelitian ini siswa kelas IVB SD Negeri 1 Blunyahan berjumlah 30 siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah tes, observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskripsi kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar IPS kelas IVB SD 1 Blunyahan. Hasil Pra tindakan ketuntasan ada 11 siswa atau 47%. Pada siklus I diperoleh peningkatan ketuntasan 21 siswa atau 70% dan belum tuntas ada 9 siswa atau 30%. Pada siklus II peningkatan yaitu tuntas 27 siswa atau 90% dan belum tuntas ada 3 siswa atau 10%. Selain itu keaktifan siswa mengikuti pelajaran juga meningkat. Hal ini ditandai meningkatnya keaktifan siswa dalam bertanya, menjawab pertanyaan, bekerja kelompok dan berpendapat.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve the Social Studies learning achievement of Grade IVB students of SD Negeri 1 Blunyahan, Sewon, Bantul, Yogyakarta Special Region, by using audio visual media. This was a classroom action research study. It was conducted through collaboration with the class teacher. The research subjects were Grade IVB students of SD Negeri 1 Blunyahan with a total of 30 students. The data were collected by tests, observations, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis techniques were qualitative and quantitative descriptive techniques. The results of the study showed that there was an improvement of the Social Studies learning achievement of Grade IVB students of SD 1 Blunyahan. The results in the pre-action showed that 11 students (47%) attained the mastery. In Cycle I, there was an improvement; 21 students (70%) attained the mastery and 9 students (30%) did not attain it. In Cycle II, there was an improvement; 27 students (90%) attained the mastery and 3 students (10%) did not attain it. In addition, the students’ activeness in attending the class also improved. This was indicated by their activeness in asking questions, answering questions, working in groups, and expressing opinions.
