PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN BERBICARA MELALUI MODEL KOOPERATIF TIPE COOPERATIVE SCRIPT PADA SISWA KELAS V SD N

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran dan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas V SD N Karangmojo Bantul melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe cooperative script. Subjek  pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD N Karangmojo. Dalam satu kelas tersebut terdapat 35 siswa yang akan diteliti. Objek pada penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa.Pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data berupa analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil keterampilan berbicara siswa menunjukkan bahwa pada pra test rerata siswa adalah 55,14, kemudian pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 63,14, dan meningkat lagi pada siklus II menjadi 75,14. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas V SD N Karangmojo melalui model pembelajaran cooperative script.

Abstract

The study aims at improving learning process and speaking skill quality of fifth grade students at Karangmojo Bantul elementary school using cooperative script type of cooperative learning model. The subjects of the study were fifth grade students at Karangmojo Bantul elementary school. In a class, there were 35 students who will be studied. The object of the study was to improve students’ speaking skill. This study used the test method, observation, and documentation as data gathering technique. For data analysis technique, this study used qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The result of students’ speaking skill shows that in the pre test, the average of students’ score is 55,14, then it increases by 63,14 in first cycle, and then it increases again by 75,14 in second cycle. That result shows fifth grade students’ speaking skill at Karangmojo Bantul elementary school is improved using cooperative script model.
