PENINGKAKAN PRESTASI BELAJAR IPS MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN QUANTUM TEACHING

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk peningkatan prestasi belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas III B SD Negeri Ngoto.Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis tindakan kelas yang dilakukan secara kolaborsi dengan guru kelas.Model penelitian ini adalah Kemmis dan Mc Taggart yang terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif.Prestasi belajar sebelum tindakan menunjukkan jumlah siswa yang mencapai KKM sebanyak 10 siswa (50%) dan 10 siswa (50%) belum mencapai KKM. Pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 13 siswa (70%) mencapai KKM dan 7 siswa (30%) masih dibawah KKM, sedangkan pada siklus II jumlah siswa mencapai KKM meningkat menjadi 18 siswa (90%) dan 2 siswa (10%) masih dibawah KKM. Nilai rata-rata pada saat pra tindakan sebesar (69,5), pada siklus I meningkat menjadi (74,25). Pada siklus II meingkatlagi menjadi (81,25). Dengan demikian penggunaan model Quantum Teaching dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar IPS siswa kelas III B SD Negeri Ngoto.

Abstrack

This study aims to improve learning achievement through Quantum Teaching model on the subjects of Social Scienceof Class III B Ngoto Public Elementary School. This type of research used Classroom Action Research conducted in collaboration with classroom teachers.The research model wasKemmis and Mc Taggart consist of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data was analyzed with quantitative descriptive techniques.The learning achievement before action indicates students who completion the Minimum Standard of the Grades (KKM) there are 10 students (50%) and the uncompleted ones are 10 students (50%)The first cycle increased to 13students (70%)have achieve the Minimum Standard of the Grades (KKM) and 7 students (30%) are failed. Whilein the second cycle, students who achieve the Minimum Standard of the Grades (KKM) increased to 18 students (90%) and 2 students (10%) are failed. The mean of grades of pre-action amounted to 69.5, and the first cycle there is some improvement on the mean of grades to 74.5. In second cycle the is some improvement on the mean of grades to 81.25. Thus, uses Quantum Teaching model can improve learning achievement of Social Science of Class III B Ngoto PublicElementary school.
