PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR ILMU PENGETAHUAN SOSIAL MELALUI METODE KARYAWISATA

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar ilmu pengetahuan sosial melalui metode karyawisata pada siswa kelas III di SD Negeri Kraton. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) kolaboratif. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan model Kemmis & Taggart. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III dengan jumlah 14 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan tes. Validasi instrumen dilakukan melalui expert judgment dan uji validasi isi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode karyawisata dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.Tahap pra tindakan, terbukti hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial pada siswa kelas III dikategorikan rendah. Pada siklus I, ketuntasan belajar mengalami peningkatan tetapi belum mencapai hasil yang diharapkan. Baru pada Siklus II, hasil belajar siswa telah mencapai KKM ketuntasan sesuai dengan indikator yang diharapkan. Dengan demikian hasil belajar telah memenuhi indikator keberhasilan 70% sudah mencapai KKM.

Abstract

Thisresearch aims to improve the outcome of social studies through field trip method for the third grade students in Kratonelementary school. This type of this research is collaborative class action. Thisresearchapplies Kemmis & Taggart design study. The subjectof the researchis 14 students of the third grade. The test method is used in this research. The instrument validation is done through expert judgement and content validation evaluation. The data analysis is done with descriptive quantitative technique. The result of the study shows that the field trip method could improve the outcome of students’ learning process.In the pre-action stage, the outcome of their social studies learning ot the third grade students is categorised as low. In the first cycle, the number of students who passed the test experience improvement but the result still have not achieve what is hoped. However, in the second cycle, the result corresponded to the indicator of the expectation. Therefore, the result of 70% have achieve the standard barometer.
