Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mengukur pada pembelajaran IPA melalui penerapan metode eksperimen. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas bersifat kolaboratif yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini siswa kelas VI SD Kanisius Kotabaru I yang berjumlah 26 siswa. Objek penelitian adalah peningkatan keterampilan mengukur melalui penerapan metode eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan LKS. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan mengukur pada siswa meningkat sangat baik setelah diberi tindakan melalui metode eksperimen.

Abstract

This study aims at improving measuring skills in learning science by applying the experimental method . This study was a collaborative action research which was conducted in two cycles . The subjects of this study were six graders Kanisius Kotabaru I, which were 26 students . The object of the research was to measure the skill improvement by applying the experimental method . Data were collected by observation and LKS . Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis . The results shows that the implementation of the experimental method can improve the measuring skills with very good category.
