KORELASI MOTIVASI BERPRESTASI DENGAN KEMANDIRIAN BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV SD SE-GUGUS 4 WATES KULON PROGO

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi motivasi berprestasi dengan kemandirian belajar siswa kelas IV SD segugus 4 Wates Kulon Progo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Segugus 4 Wates Kulon Progo sebanyak 233 siswa dengan sampel = 147 siswa yang dihitung dengan rumus slovin dan diambil dengan teknik proportional random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan angket. Analisis data terdiri dari analisis deskriptif dan analisis korelasi product moment. Analisis deskriptif digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan data hasil penelitian. Analisis korelasi product moment digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis yang dikemukakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi positif dan signifikan motivasi berprestasi dengan kemandirian belajar dengan nilai koefisien korelasi 0,310 (kategori rendah). Berdasarkan uji t diperoleh sebesar 3,929 dengan sig sebesar 0,000 yang sesuai dengan persyaratan sig < 0,05. Jika dibandingkan dengan sebesar 1,655 pada taraf signifikansi 5% maka lebih besar daripada . Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa semakin tinggi motivasi berprestasi yang dimiliki siswa akan semakin tinggi pula kemandirian belajarnya.

Abstract
This study aims to determine the correlation of achievement motivation with learning independence of fourth grade students cluster 4 Wates Kulon Progo. This study uses a correlationanl method. The population in this study is fourth grade students cluster 4 Wates Kulon Progo as many as 233 students with 147 studens as sample of this study which calculated by the slovin formula and taken by proportional random sampling. Data was collected using a questionnaire. Data analysis consists of a descriptive analysis and simple correlation product moment analysis. Descriptive analysis is used to describe the research data. Product moment analysis is used to test the hypothesis. The result of the study shows that that the achievement motivation in a positive correlation with learning independence with correlation coefficient 0.310 (low category). Based on t test was obtained of 3,929 with sig of 0.000 in accordance with the requirements of sig <0.05. When compared with the of 1.655 at a significance level of 5% then the is greater than . It can be said that the higher the achievement motivation of the students will be higher the learning independence.
