PENGARUH PENGUATAN POSITIF TERHADAP MINAT BELAJAR IPS PADA SISWA KELAS V SD N PUNDUNGREJO 03

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penguatan (reinforcement) positif terhadap minat belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial siswa kelas V SD N Pundungrejo 03 tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis eksperimen. Subjek penelitian ini siswa kelas V SD N Pundungrejo 03, yang berjumlah 24 siswa yang diambil secara purposive sampling. Instumen yang digunakan meliputi pedoman observasi dan skala minat belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial. Uji validitas instrumen menggunakan validitas konstruk, dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan rumus Alpha. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan diperkuat dengan gain score oleh R.R. Hake. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan ada pengaruh penguatan (reinforcement) positif terhadap minat belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD N Pundungrejo 03. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan dengan perolehan rata-rata pretest sebesar 71,58 dan perolehan rata-rata posttest sebesar 97,37. Dengan demikian terdapat perbedaan rata-rata pretest-postest sebesar 25,79 dan diperkuat dengan hasil analisis gain score sebesar 0,457 dan berada pada kategori sedang, yakni lebih dari  0,3 dan kurang dari 0,7 [0,7 < (N-gain) ≥ 0,3].

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the influence in positive reinforcement toward interest study in social science for students of class V SDN Pundungrejo 03 the academic year 2015/2016. This research used quantitative research, with experimental type. The subject of this research was the students of class V SDN Pundungrejo 03, totalling 24 students that were decided by using a purposive-sampling technique. The instruments that been used  are observation checklist and interest scale of social science study. Validity testing used construct validities, and reliability testing used Alpha formula. Hypothesis testing used description analysis and been supported by using gain score formula from R.R Hake. The result of this research shows that there is an influence of reinforcement toward interest study social science of student of class V SDN Pundungrejo 03 the academic year 2015/2016. This influence showed by getting average pretest about 71, 58 and getting average posttest about 97,37. So any differences average pretest-posttest about 25,79 and stronger by analysis gain score  about 0,457 and being in medium category, it is  more than 0,3 and less than 0,7 (0,7 < (N-gain ≥ 0,3)
