PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS PERMULAAN MENGGUNAKAN BUKU HARIAN SISWA KELAS I A SD N PLEBENGAN SIDOMULYO BANTUL TAHUN 2015/2016

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis permulaan menggunakan Buku Harian siswa kelas I A SD Negeri Plebengan Sidomulyo Kabupaten Bantul. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas I A SD Negeri Plebengan (34 siswa). Objek penelitian ini adalah peningkatan keterampilan menulis permulaan siswa kelas I A. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan Observasi, Tes (unjuk kerja), dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan keterampilan menulis permulaan menggunakan Buku Harian siswa kelas I A SD Negeri Plebengan. Hasil tersebut diperoleh dari perbandingan nilai rata-rata kelas pada Prasiklus, Siklus I, dan Siklus II. Nilai rata-rata pada Prasiklus sebesar 66,0 dengan presentase ketuntasan 35,3%. Nilai rata-rata kelas pada Siklus I sebesar 72,9 dengan presentase ketuntasan sebesar 58,8%. Peningkatan terjadi sebanyak 23,3%. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata kelas pada Siklus II sebesar 80,9 dengan presentase sebesar 70,6%, meningkat sebanyak 11,8%

Abstract

This research aims at improving the Ist grade students’s early writing skills using Diary in SD N Plebengan. The subjects were all students of Ist class (34 students). The object of this research was the enhancing of Ist A class students's early writing skills. This research use the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart’s design. The data collection’s methods using observation, test (performance), and documentation. Data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive. The results shows that the Ist A class student’s early writing skills have enhanced during the action. The results obtains from the comparison of the class’s average value on Pra Cycle, Ist Cycle, and IInd Cycle. The class’s average value of the Prasiklus was 66.0 or 35.3% completeness. The class’s average value in the Ist cycle was 72.9 with a percentage of 58.8% completeness or have increased 23,3%. While the class’s average value in IInd Cycle was 80.9 with a percentage of 70.6% completeness, or have increase of 11.8%.
